Sunday

Sunday
(Im writing this on the plane as I had no time on the day)
As I went off for breakfast I popped in on mum when she was near the end of her pedicure, she looked pretty happy I must say!! Anyway, this was the first day that i was having breakfast alone so it was slightly strange asking for a table for one. I sat down at the table with watermelon, mango and pineapple. Next thing I know I'm being asked if I could be joined by Jeremy, (sporty guy/I should really say 'Activities Manager'.
So I accept, but I think it must have been awkward for him due to the amount of times my ears failed me to understand all of his carribean accent.
I leave breakfast and went off to see Alex on the other side of the pool to find out the time. He didnt know but the second I started walking I was greeted by scuba guy(Mark, great teacher) who handed me my participation certificate. This sheet of paper certifies me to do absolutely nothing.
So Alex didn't know the time, but he said that there wasn't enough wind to sail with his parents. So I went to investigate, I found Danelle doing tricep dips on the edge of the table in the watersports centre, weirdly enough he said that later on there would be enough wind to sail, but that was fine as i had my mani pedi until 12 anyways and then lunch and then off to sail.
I did all of those things and got deep turquoise toes and deep purple fingers, plus I managed to persuade Alex that it was safe on the boat and that it would be fun. With very little persuading he came. All of the journey went perfectly apart from just before we arrived we nearly crashed into the 'Rhum Runner' but luckily the wind picked up and I managed to catch it(the fastest I've gone before). We arrived back on shore with, if I may say so myself, perfect landing...
After that I dived straight into the pool, and out again(sunscreen), and back in and was shortly joined again by Alex. He was in a VERY strange mood. Funny though-ish. Packing the rest of my things up D:
Just managed to fit it all in!!
Fillin out the questionare then off for goodbyes. After calling Alex over from his volleyball game, he made that look that said WHAT THE HELL?!? I then replied IM LEAVING!! He softened the look, slightly. Then a quick hug from Vincent and a wet hug from one lady who was on the pool volleyball team and had helped me out!!
Feeling sad now.
Got on the plane, it doesn't even feel like we're here anymore.
The only couple of things that remind me that it wasn't a dream are
1.LaSource water bottle
2. Cute tanned blond guys that had been at the grenadian airport
3. A few prezzies
4. Alex on facebook
5. David(I just looked through my blog to see that I haven't actually mentioned him yet, he became a good friend of ours, mum met him at Tai Chi & Yoga, he has eaten with us a few times and he came along when we hired our car) who is still at the airport and is seeing us off.

I'm so glad that I decided to do this blog, it means that I know everything that I did, so every day didn't go so fast!! It's really worth doing, so I suggest you try on your next holiday, or experience with something(and send me a link).
Thanks for keeping this blog going!!

Saturday

Saturday
Our last full day... :(
Watching people cut coconuts of the trees and offer them round as drinks, yummy!!
Just got persuaded(eventually) to play pool volleyball by alex and andy(sporty guy).
I was the sympathy vote on the team, always got told to try another shot on my serve. That's why I'm not on teams!! O well, for never playing before I did okay!!
Scuba diving!! It was lovely, when we went down my ears wouldn't equalise!! Finally when they did, I got comfortable underwater. I loved the lil black things, similar to sea urchins, and when you wave at them they pop back into whatever they're stuck on!!
To finish it off, won 2 pool games out of... You don't need to know!!
Mani pedi tomorrow!!

*Extra*

*Extra Friday-ness*
We sailed single!!! Yay! We went pretty fast(for us) and didn't even nearly crash!!

Thursday

Thursday
He wasn't avoiding me(he says)!!
It's quite average weather here, grey, not so hot, not humid. Good for tennis but not for sunbathing.
I think my last hope of coming back with a tan is ruined.
So, this morning i set an alarm and took myself of to the yoga class.
I didn't like it, it felt like the teacher had no soul in yoga, like she didn't want to be here. It felt like a beginners workout course instead!!
That's okay though, everyone else was enjoying it!!
We're heading down to the other end of the hotel to see if we can go sailing. Nope, no wind...
We'll come back later!!
Off to tennis, turns out it starts in an hour so we'll fling some balls around!!
The lesson was really good although it started raining so we had to finish early, we learnt how to serve(the game starter).
*Extra*
Quick extra for Wednesday.
The facials are THE BEST treatment here!!! Well for me, lots of people likes the back massage...
Just come out of the room as it's been raining!!
Quick dip in the pool and then back again. It's stopped completely but everyone's huddled outside!!
Ahh-ha-ha it's 'cold' in the pool!
Bitten to the extreme today!! ITCHY. Look out for tomorrow's post!!

Tuesday!!

Tuesday
I haven't had my phone on me all day so I haven't been blogging...
But a quick overview, we've been out driving around the island to look at the culture and the beauty of it!
We drove up to the top of the island and saw the rainforest there(of course, it was raining... But it was lovely because we saw little tiny shops.etc) we also worked our way up to leapers hill. This was named after the last 40 or something caribs who would rather be dead than be taken over by the French, so all of them together jumped off this hill to their deaths. Nice... :-S
Very beautiful landscape and it was lovely to get to know the island. Grenadiens are lovely people, although they seem daunting when you see them by the roads with knifes, but they are for farming!
After we got back to the hotel after a long day, we dived straight into the pool. Ahh!! Lavely!! :D
I haven't seen my friend, Alex for days, I think he's avoiding me... :S
